SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD TO HOLD JANUARY 31 PUBLIC HEARING ON SIMPLIFIED STANDARDS FOR RAIL RATE CASES
The Surface Transportation Board announced today that the agency will hold a

public hearing regarding proposed changes to its procedures for determining the reasonableness of challenged railroad rates in those cases in which a full stand-alone cost (SAC) presentation is too costly. The hearing will begin at
