Public & Media Advisory: Surface Transportation Board Provides Schedule of Appearances for October 13 Oral Argument Concerning "Buckingham Branch Railroad's" Proposed Lease of "CSX" Rail Line in Virginia


Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober today provided a schedule of speakers' appearances and their time allocations for the STB's October 13, 2004 oral argument concerning a proposed lease transaction in the case entitled Buckingham Branch Railroad Company--Lease--CSX Transportation, Inc., STB Finance Docket No. 34495.


The oral argument will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, in Room 760, the STB's hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in the Mercury Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.


The STB officially announced the oral argument in STB Finance Docket No. 34495 in "Decision No. 4" issued to the public on October 5, 2004. The schedule of speakers' appearances and time allocations, as published in the agency's "Decision No. 5" issued October 8, 2004, in STB Finance Docket No. 34495, is attached. That decision is available for viewing and downloading via the agency's Web site at http://www.stb.dot.gov.
