The Surface Transportation Board (STB) announced today that the agency will hold a February 15, 2007 public hearing regarding the appropriate methodology to be employed by the STB in determining the railroad industry's estimated cost of capital, which would then be used by the agency in future, annual cost-of-capital decisions.

The hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, in Room 760, the STB's hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in the Mercury Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
