SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD LIBRARY TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE JULY 9 TO FACILITATE OFFICE MOVE; REOPENING DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED

On Monday, July 9, 2018, the Surface Transportation Board will temporarily close its library and public docket room located on the first floor of the Board’s headquarters at the Patriots Plaza I building, 395 E Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20423-0001, to accommodate building construction within the Board’s office space. During the library’s temporary closure, public requests for library documents should be made to the STB’s Rail Customer and Public Assistance Office at (202) 245-0238, or by emailing rcpa@stb.gov. The Board’s website, which houses daily filings and decisions, will continue to serve as a public docket room during the closure. In making today’s announcement, the Board expresses its appreciation for the public’s patience and understanding during construction. The Board will remain at its current location after construction with a reduced footprint, pursuant to current federal policy. ###
