Public Advisory: New Main Phone Number for Surface Transportation Board

The Surface Transportation Board (STB) announced that, effective today, Wednesday, January 21, 2004, the agency's main telephone number will be (202) 565-1500.

The new number was chosen in the interest of ease of use and recall. All information services provided to the public under the STB's former main number, (202) 565-1674, will be provided under the new number.
