SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD UPDATES ITS ELECTRONIC NEWS-RELEASE MAILING LIST, INVITES PUBLIC & MEDIA SUBSCRIBERS


The Surface Transportation Board today implemented a new, automated list server to maintain its electronic news-release mailing list. The Board is inviting members of the public and the news media to subscribe to the new list to receive the agency’s electronic news releases at the time they are issued.


Additions, deletions, or changes to the mailing list are easily performed by sending an e-mail to stbnewslistserver@stb.dot.gov requesting the following actions:


To ADD your e-mail address to the news-release subscription list, type “subscribe stbnews” (without the quotation marks) into both the subject line and the body of your email;


To DELETE your e-mail address from the news-release subscription list, type “unsubscribe stbnews” (without the quotation marks) into both the subject line and the body of your e-mail;


To CHANGE your e-mail address within the news-release subscription list, follow the instructions above to first delete the email address at which you no longer want to receive news releases, then follow the instructions to add the new email address at which you want to receive news releases.


The Board maintains a secure online system, and will not share subscriber e-mail addresses with any other governmental agency, private entity, or individual. The agency will not add, delete, or make changes to e-mail addresses upon user request; users must perform such actions themselves according to the above instructions.
