Public & Media Advisory: Surface Transportation Board Provides Schedule of Appearances & New Starting Time for April 26 Public Hearing on Challenges to Railroad Rates Under the "Stand-Alone Cost" Methodology

Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober today provided a schedule of speakers' appearances and their time allocations for the STB's April 26, 2005 public hearing concerning the recently initiated proceeding entitled Rail Rate Challenges Under the Stand-Alone Cost Methodology, STB Ex Parte No. 657.

The public hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in Room 760, the STB's hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in the Mercury Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.

The schedule of speakers' appearances and time allocations was provided in a decision issued to the public today, April 22, 2005. That decision is available for viewing and downloading via the agency's Web site at http://www.stb.dot.gov.
