Statement of Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober on the Resignation of Commissioner Linda Morgan

Surface Transportation Board (Board) Chairman Roger Nober issued the following statement regarding Commissioner Linda J. Morgan's resignation from the agency yesterday:

"I can speak for everyone here at the Board when I say that we will all miss Commissioner Morgan, and that all of us in the transportation industry owe her a tremendous debt of gratitude for the work she has accomplished here over the past nine years.

"Speaking for myself, I personally will miss her most of all. She has been a tremendous colleague and mentor to me during my past six months here at the Board, and I will miss her intelligence, expertise and judgment.

"I wish her well in her next endeavor and, on behalf of all of us here, thank her for her dedication to the agency and to public service."
