SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD UPDATES ITS USER-FEE SCHEDULE
The Surface Transportation Board today announced its latest update of fees the public must pay to file certain cases and pleadings with the Board. In comparison to the STB's 2013 fee update, 27 of the agency's user fees decreased by more than $100, 39 fees decreased by $100 or less, 46 fees remain unchanged, and 13 fees increased by $50 or less.
The Board is required by regulation to update its user fees at least once per year. To facilitate comparison, the Board charted both FY 2013 and FY 2014 fees in Appendix C of its decision today in
Regulations Governing Fees for Services Performed in Connection with Licensing and Related Services—2014 Update
